) I loved watching the electric company as a kid,and watching it again brought back
a lot of memories. I liked to hear what each cast member had to say. It was a funny and educational show to teach children how to read and it works. I glad they finally decided to put the show on DVD so everybody that watched the show back then will enjoy it again.

) I bought this for my daughter, hoping she would enjoy The Electric Company as much as I did when I was a kid. I was disappointed that "clipped-filled celebration" translated to mostly commentaries and few clips. Not a good buy for my daughter.

Well, I thought I was purchasing all the greatest episodes - - what I ended up with is a nice PBS special with some guy yacking about what was so great. I wanted a copy so my son could experience what I loved about the program. He's 2.5y and not ready to sit for a documentary with a few splashy shows here and there. Plus it's missing many of the things I thought were great, like the telephone monsters.

This item is okay. I was hoping it would have more skits. Overall, it's exactly what it advertises. Hits and Bits. If your looking for more skits, I'd go with one of the other.
