I purchased this book for a Christmas gift and was hoping it wouldn't be a disappointment. Wow! What an absolutely wonderful book! Filled with so many pages and I never knew so many guitars existed. These guitars were so beautiful and the book is filled with great information without being overwhelming, basically and interesting and easy read. This book is perfect for the guitar or music lover. If you want a history on electric guitars, colorful photos, fun and easy to read, this book is it. Filled not only with lots of colorful pages, but also many photos of the famous musicians who used them. A must have book!

It allows for quick look up of many different brands and models. Although it does NOT cover all Brands, or all Models of a specific brand, it does fill in some of the gaps in other text. As with all reference materials, when used with other sources it allows for some pretty thorough identifications of brands and models as well as the history and origins of guitars.

Absolutely beautiful book with fantastic phtographs and well written text. If your collection does not have this book it probably should.
