Element - The Mind & Body Experience - Tai Chi for Beginners (DVD, 2009) It was a good dvd for tai CHi. I am a beginner and it was a little complicated keeping up. It is suppose to be for beginners but I guess I must need tai Chi for Dummies b/c this wa a little faster for me.

Very nice beginner video

This video takes you step-by-step through a tai chi routine. It is set outdoors in a garden, not in a studio. The only person is the instructor, no dance models or gymnasts. He wears only a t-shirt and yoga pants, not bright spandex costumes.Every posture is broken down in steps, and moved through slowly, with plenty of time to keep up. The instructor has a calm, encouraging voice, and always reminds his viewers to only go so far as their bodies will take them. This is the calm tai chi I was seeking.

I wanted to get this for the kids and I to practice together. So far only one of them has stuck it out with me, but it's been a lot of fun to learn Tai Chi. The DVD starts out slow so that beginners do not get discouraged. Even though they make it look easy it was actually a difficult work out. DVD arrived in excellent shape and we love it!

The fact that I have ordered this DVD for myself,but reodered 3 more times for friends and family,speaks volumes ..It is the best instructional DVD,I have ever seen. If one is interested in learning Tai Chi, this is where to begin..Easy to follow, paced for both beginners and more advanced participants..I am very pleased with it..
