Embroidery Machine Essentials by Jeanine Twigg (2001, Other, Mixed media product)

T took a class at a sewing store on machine embroidery. This book was highly recommended by the instructor. It is very comprehensive, has lots of photos illustrating techniques and tools, lots of tips on how to achieve great results, and is very easy to understand. It also contains a CD with several embroidery designs. I bought it here, as they were charging full price for it at the store. Brand new and in great shape.

I have a few of these books and love the designs and the fact that they give you creative ideas, plus a cd with all the designs. I decided that I wanted the whole set or anything that was available. I bought it because of my love for machine embroidery and my passion for creating works of art.

"EME" is a fantastic book for people just starting out in the world of machine embroidery. Twigg uses practical exercises, combined with plain-English explanations, to teach students.

As an embroidery instructor, I always recommend this book to students as a great starting place. It's not machine-specific, so it won't alienate any audience member. She also has several other books in the series.

Great book. An asset to anyone who owns an embroidery machine. Lots of helpful tips and techniques. After using this book, I have purchased others by Jeanine Twigg.

I just purchased an embroidery machine and this book was recommended by one of the staff at the sewing machine store. I love the illustrations and explanations are easy to understand. So far, I'm learning to use the machine and haven't gotten to the embroidery part, but this book will be useful when I do.
