The Re-Up
Awesome cd, the Eminem tracks are obviously the best, but Obie Trice pulls in second with a killer remix to Pistol Pistol. This is a must have for any Shady Records fan. Read more

Album Notes
Personnel: Eminem (rap vocals); Bobby Creekwater, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Nate Dogg, Obie Trice, Proof, Bizarre, Kuniva, Stat Quo, Cashis (rap vocals).A little over two years after his hugely successful fourth solo album, ENCORE, the Warren, Michigan, native and rap icon returns with a compilation album--originally conceived as a mixtape--that serves to showcase his own label, Shady Records, and its formidable line-up of artists. While EMINEM PRESENTS: THE RE-UP is far from a solo album, Eminem himself is responsible for much of the album's heat, producing the majority of the tracks and making vocal appearances on seven songs (including three solo joints).Shady protegees Obie Trice, Stat Quo, Swifty McVay, Kuniva, and Mr. Porter, newcomers Bobby Creekwater and Ca$his, as well as established stars like 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Nate Dogg are allotted time to shine. One of THE RE-UP's strongest assets, though, is the participation of another industry giant, the Alchemist, who (aside from laying down a handful of the album's tightest beats) worked as DJ archivist, putting the track list together to provide the necessary street mixtape feel.

This was Eminem best cd so far. Also, to make this the best you have Akon sing Smack That and Get Low by Stat Quo. Two more great songs on this cd would have to be You Don't Know by 50 Cent, Eninem, Cashis, and Lloyd Banks and the song No Apologies by Eminem.

Guess who's back?

This CD is pretty much a disappointment. If it wasn’t for some Eminem and Obie tracks, this CD would be horrible. This CD was just a way to promote the newest members of Shady Records into mainstream music. I’m not much of a fan of these new guys. They sound alright, but my finger is always on the skip button. This isn’t as good as any past Shady mixtape CDs. I still recommend it to Eminem fans that just want to add it to their collection.

Em and his crew get together for a cd. em songs great. em and 50 collabo great. pretty much if it has em in it its good. but then you get to bobby creekwater and another new guy and they are garbage. no flow or anything i dunno what em sees in these fools. Proof tribute great song. all around a good cd in the begining where the em songs are towards the middle gets lame and then em finishes it off.
