Movie synopsis
Kuzco (David Spade) is the young, arrogant emperor of a vast kingdom. For his entire life, he has always had everything his own way. When his adviser, Yzma (Eartha Kitt), decides to usurp his power for herself, she has her servant Kronk (Patrick Warburton) poison Kuzco--but something goes wrong, and instead of dying, Kuzco is transformed into a talking llama. The former emperor winds up in the company of Pacha (John Goodman), a simple peasant just evicted from his land by Kuzco's plans for a new summer home. Pacha and Kuzco grudgingly agree to work together to restore Kuzco to his throne--and back to human form--but a series of wacky misadventures and the schemes of Yzma ensure that their journey will be a treacherous one. With THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE, Disney takes a break from the more serious, epic dramas of recent years in order to focus on nonstop comedy and slapstick dialogue. Featuring a series of hilarious stunts and a quick, lighthearted pace, THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE is a bubbly pleasure for viewers of all ages. The film also features Sting's Oscar-nominated song "My Funny Friend and Me."

) I can honestly say that my family and I love this movie. I bought it b/c I have the VHS but we play it so much that it is starting to show its wear and tear. Plus the fact that Eartha Kitt a legend (puurr) and David Spade, Patrick Warburton, John Goodman, they are awesome in this movie. My whole family enjoys watching it, and we do it together. I feel that this is one movie that will be around for a long time, and loved just as if I watched for the first time. We rate this movie a 5 star. Action, morals, and last but not least family and friends. - Enjoy

Fun, full-of-laughs movie!

) I have been in love with this movie since the first time I saw it! It makes me laugh out loud, no matter how many times I watch it. It is a silly, fun movie that, ultimately, has a great message about kindness!
Each character is developed to the point of endearment, even the "bad guy". You can't go wrong with this movie!! :)
~I own this movie on VHS, but my VHS machine died recently. This movie LIVED in my VCR. I'd turn it on if I had a bad day, if I could use some laughter, or if I was enjoying an evening with friends (I am a college student, so we turn it on in our suite quite frequently). So, needless to say, I still wanted to have access to it! So, I came to ebay, found a great deal, and bought it. I am so glad I made that decision!

This is one of my favorites and my childrens favorite. I love David Spade and John Goodman doing the voices of the main characters. This rates at the top with Disney's best classics like Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella and the Jungle Book. I decided to buy this because we all ready have it on VHS and also wanted it on DVD.

) Already knowing what a hilariously funny movie this is, my children and I bought it so that we'd have it on DVD. If you are looking for a great family movie, you have to see Emperor's New Groove!!!!
