    Enemy Territory: Quake Wars pits the armies of Earth against the invading alien Strogg in an online strategic shooter. Players choose to battle as one of five unique classes in either the EDF (Earth Defense Force -- humans) or the barbaric alien Strogg armies. Troops use 40+ conventional and futuristic vehicles, deployable structures, and defense systems like quad-bikes, tanks, and alien walkers for epic ground assaults; or helicopters and anti-gravity ships to lend firepower from the air. Throughout each battle, teams establish bases, deploy defense structures, artillery, radar, and advanced forward-command systems into enemy territory while constructing and demolishing obstacles to speed progress and gain a tactical advantage over the enemy.

    Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (ET:QW) is a first-person shooter video game, and is the follow-up to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. However, it is set in the same science fiction universe as Quake II and Quake 4, with a back-story serving as a prequel to Quake II. It is the second multiplayer-focused game in the Quake series (after Quake III Arena). Quake Wars features similar gameplay to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, but with the addition of controllable vehicles and aircraft,[8] asymmetric teams, much larger maps and the option of computer-controlled bots. Unlike the previous Enemy Territory game, Quake Wars is a commercial release rather than a free download.

    This game is awesome. The graphics are top notch and the online play is challenging and fun. There are so many abilities for each of the classes within each race to master that this game will remain challenging for a long time. The only downside is that there is no true "single player" campaign for this game, but since it is really a massive rewrite/upgrade to the original Enemy Territory (Wolfenstein) which is only online-play this is not much of a gripe.

    good game...not bad for a first person shooter reallly enjoy playing with my kids its something we can all get into playing

    I LIKE STRATEGY GAMES, BUT THIS IS A SURE GOOD SHOOTER GAME IF IT'S YOUR THING! AND THE GRAPHICS ARE SUPER!

    Being a Quake fan right from the start, I absolutely had to purchase this game and what a great decision that was! The playability of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is by far it's best feature. Involving both singleplayer and multiplayer fun, the graphics it uses is visually pleasing and refuses to let anyone become bored. All this and exclusive collectors cards with concept art to boot! This cannot be given a miss by a quake fan or anyone for that matter. All hail Quake!
