Throughout this typically bizarre 2005 disc, Buckethead unleashes his rapid-fire riffs, and even reunites with his former Deli Creeps bandmate Maximum Bob on "The Hand." Many of ENTER THE CHICKEN's finest tracks feature Tankian himself on vocals, most notably the surging, staccato "We Are One" and the eerie, atmospheric "Coma." Those seeking potent heavy metal with an avant-garde edge will likely be pleased with this odd and adventurous outing.
