Less impressive than other Costco cookbooks.

I have been very impressed with the more recent Costco cookbooks. I was less so with this particular book, Entertaining the Costco Way. While the newer books have a great variety of recipes, this book has fewer choices and focuses more on things like how to set a table, for example. Also, the recipes that are included aren't so much recipes as they are ways to liven up store-bought pre-processed food. I was expecting recipes to make creative dishes from scratch, not ideas on how to creatively serve some pre-prepared frozen dish. I would highly recommend other, later cookbooks from the Costco series. This one not so much.
