    After watching the creation of the Wheel of Life Mandala by Losang Samten, I mentioned to my supervisor (Head, Dept. of Anthro) that I would like to know more about Buddhism. He strongly recommended Robert Thurman's books and stated that this particular book was a good introduction to Buddhism. It is written so that anyone can understand the teachings of Buddhism. Highly recommend this reading.
