I am very pleased with this book. If you are looking for a book that is an easy read and quick reference, then this book is for you. It is a great first book on puppies, better than the Idiot's guide. It has great pictures, both black and white and some color. The text is large so it's easy to read. I bought this book for myself, but if I knew someone purchasing a puppy, then I would definitely consider this a great gift or a referral to purchase or loan from your local library!

Found answers to most questions we have had about our puppy in this book. It is better than the other four books we also purchased.

It is really not good to give a review without recieving it yet but I am looking forward to getting and reading this one. My daughter raises and sells Golden Retrievers and will be excited to get it.
I finally recieved this one and it is everything it says. It was also in great condition. It covers most anything anyone would like to know. Excellent book. I recommend it to anyone that has dogs of any breed.
