Movie synopsis
Seth MacFarlane's animated comedy continues its assault on pop culture, good taste, and the Fox censors with its riotous fifth and sixth seasons. Even though nothing has really changed for the Griffin family, there's still plenty of comedic ground to cover. This batch of episodes sees, among other things, James Woods returning to Quahog to reclaim the life and family that Peter stole from him by filching the wallet Woods left behind at a Barry Manilow concert. Meanwhile, Brian causes tension between Peter and himself when he blurts out a profession of love for Lois during a Martha’s Vineyard getaway and later discovers he’s the illegitimate father of a puppy who’s dropped off on the Griffins' front door. Then, shortly after Peter acquires a record containing his favorite song, "Surfin’ Bird," and annoys everybody with it until it is destroyed, he goes out to buy a new one and ends up befriending Jesus, who was disguised as a music-store clerk. This collection contains the last four episodes of the sixth season and the first nine episodes of the seventh season.

I was looking forward to buying this DVD set because it has 1 of my favorite episodes in it.
Disc 2 "I Dream of Jesus" I just think it is so funny with Peter & Surfing Bird. I can watch that over & over.
Good bunch of episodes.
OK, what happened DVD makers? What happened to the card board DVD case folders & individual plastic cases?
They went CHEAP, CHEAP. Instead of the nice card board DVD cases we get a cheap, plastic smaller case. No individual cases for each DVD. We get the 3 discs inside the CHEAP plastic holder. Looks & feel like it will break at any minute. You have to remove DVD's to see the episodes lists & YOU GET NO EPISODE INFORMATION like you used to on previous sets with the good card board cases & individual DVD cases.
Normal extras on it, deleted scenes, commentary, some featurettes.
It is uncensored so you get the uncut curse words in it.
So, in the DVD's you will not be disappointed but you will HATE THE CHEAP PLASTIC CASE & LACK OF DETAIL THAT GOES ALONG WITH GOING CHEAP.

Greatest show ever, or one of the best, some of these episodes are classics! Love the bird is the word Jesus episode & the Family Gay episode!

I bought this product to add to my collection of Family Guy series. I wasn't disappointed in the slightest way.

AWESOME

I love Family Guy .. its hilarious! I bought them so that I could watch them in order and not rely on the TV to play all episodes for me .. not to mention on DVD it is uncensored! The one thing I dislike about it .. was the packaging that the DVD itself comes in .. kinda cheap .. considering getting separated DVD envelopes to replace the clear folder-like envelopes it came in.

If you are a fan of family guy this is a must have. From the first episode on the set you realize it is truly un-censored and they added alot of things in they couldnt show on tv. Five stars is too small for a set this good, but it's all they have, so five stars it is.
