I LOVE this CD! Holding it in my hand is a source of endless enjoyment, as is looking at the photograph that's on it, and if I hold the silver side to the window, it attracts crows. I also enjoy it when I put it into my CD player, and even more so if I turn the player on and listen to it. What I hear is glorious harpsichord music. That's because this is a CD of harpsichord music, Italian to be exact. Some of the best harpsichords came from Italy. Before that, the Italians would play by drumming their fingers on table tops. Inventing the harpsichord was the obvious next step, as they had the fingering down pat. This CD makes me want to tap my toe, and I do. Just ask the folks who live downstairs.
Buying CD's can be a risky thing of course, and I should know. I live in an old house with gaps between the floor boards. I don't know HOW many CD's I have lost down there, but I am being extra careful with THIS one. When not playing it, or holding it, or displaying it on a shelf along with my thermos collection, or cleaning crow spittle off my window, I keep it tied to a brick with a piece of twine, through the convenient twine hole thing in the center. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who has a CD player and likes crows!
