) Fight night Round 2 is "fighting game" that's not a button masher. Meaning it takes actual skill to be good at the game. The difficulty allows newcomers to come in, yet takes time to master. What's good about this game is the replays of knockouts where you see your opponent obliterated, complete with sweat and blood flying. The problem with this game is that the graphics are not up to snuff, and versions on the new generation consoles will blow this game away. Overall a good game.

) I purchased for my boys, ages 15 and 12. They wanted a boxing game and weren't sure which one, only new one they didn't want. Because the price on this was extremely reasonable we decided to give it a try. They LOVE it! They have been totally enjoying it. Fight Night Round 2 was well worth the $8-10 we spent on it plus some :) I don't have to many more details on the actual game play due to not having played it myself yet.
Great coverage of boxing by EA

Most punches are controlled by the C-Stick allowing you wind up a haymaker. Career mode allows you to make a boxer who looks like you and work your way up. You are the cutman in this game too. All knowdowns are replayed in slow motion with improved graphics. Pretty close to the graphics on the xbox 360 sequel. Nice Soundtrack. Fun, impressive game!
Best Boxing your ever going to find on the Gamecube

) Great effort with very good graphics and very responsive controls. Much better than some of the "button masher" boxing games out there. Top notch title for a very cheap price. A gamcube must have.

) The best boxing game in the world. Also includes Super Punchout game selectable from the main menu. Little Mac is a hidden boxer in-game. Great sim.
