Awesome Fighting Game For Boxing Fans like Me!!!

I like the new Flash KO,Stun Punch, EA SPORTS Haymaker, Training mode and the graphics are Great. I bought this game because I enjoyed Fight Night 2004. I enjoy Round 3 even better online and more than Fight Night Round 2.

For clearer Graphics buy a Playstation 2 S-video A/V cord u will see big difference and thank me.

For Online playing go through complete Sparring on Career Mode it Helps alot with defence and offence. When not playing with custom boxers Turn it off because there's to many cheaters using custom Legend fighters.

To be safe use custom always or check Game settings before you select your fighter after they send a invite to fight.

You can build a boxer and take him into the ring in Fight Night Round 3. The game features improved graphics, which let you see in detail the effect of your punches on licensed boxers who fight in a variety of boxing styles. You can generate rivalries leading up to a fight by trash-talking and also by fighting during weigh-ins and press conferences. Fight Night Round 3 also includes ESPN footage of classic boxing rivalries. You can challenge other gamers in online multiplayer matches.

    Great Controls

    Created: 10/08/06
This is the best boxing game I've ever played. The new controls are pretty cool and make the game more challenging I think. You punch with the right joystick R3, and move around the ring with your left joystick L3. It's really fun and very competetive when playing friends. There's also features such as "Flash K.O." where you can daze your opponent in one punch, even if he has full life. It sounds cheap, but it's pretty hard to do. The career mode is also great, you win matches and find new sponsors and make more money, it basically lets you into the life of a boxer. I'd recommend this to people who like boxing or fighting games and it's awesome to play your friends in if you can dominate them like me.

    Pretty good game all around

    Created: 02/11/10
I actually had played the XBox 360 version of this a few years ago at a friend's house. I decided to buy it after watching the Rocky movies and thinking I would like a more realistic boxing experience than the Rocky games seemed to offer. It's a good game all around. The Career mode lasts a very long time. The Total Punch Control feature using the Right Analog Stick might seem confusing at first but after a bit, it makes total sense. The main thing I disliked is that, due to his outside the ring troubles (and one instance in the ring), Mike Tyson is not present in this game. I would have liked to see how he would have stacked up against some of those that are present, like Ali and Frazier. But I suppose that's a small gripe when the rest of the game was done well.

    Fight Night Round 3 PS2

    Created: 02/08/06
I like the Different professional fighters, and Being able the create your own fighter.I also like that they made it easier the throw the haymaker punch. What I didn't like is that it didn't tell you your rank or how many fights you have before you can fight for the belt. I bought the game because I have the first 2. other then not knowing your rank and how many fights until the title fight. the game play seems to get better with each game that comes out.

Great game! Very realistic, Must buy game.

    Created: 13/05/06
I like that the haymake is better and more realistic than the second one. I also like how you can keep fighting forever only until YOU want to retire. The online play is pretty good and theres a nice ranking system. Theres reallty not anything i dont like about the game. Overall its a must buy game. If your a boxing fan or not youll still like it.
