AI teammates are very slow. This game is a great puzzle/platforming/(Zelda style) dungeon crawling game.

Amazing graphics for the DS system. Actual gameplay is stunning. kinda boxy but very 3D.Cut scenes are almost some gamecube game quality.

Story 3/5
The story in this game would be a 5/5 if i began reviewing it from the middle of the game. Around the beginning the story is kinda like why am i doing this again?Then around 4 bosses later the story is somewhat complex and enthralling.

Wi-fi gameplay 2/5
This game is best either direct ds/wii play or solo. Nintendo WiFi connection can be very laggy most of times especially when playing with 3-4 people.

Replay Value 5/5 I have just finished the game and was amazed. I am going to start the game in a higher difficulty so that i can unlock some goodies otherwise not available in lower difficulties.

This game is a definite buy/rent(i prefer buy)
Also this game is quite long.Toke me approximately 20-30 hours to beat it.(didn't pay attention)

P.S this game is also made by the team who remade Final Fantasy IV and the other FFs remakes. So if you liked those games or are a fan of the Crystal Chronicle series then this game is a DEFINITE MUST for you

I liked the previous game so i decided to go ahead and buy the next one. I like final fantasy but i am not really a turn based RPG player and this game it is real time with great graphics, voice acting and by square enix

Rings of Fate was great.

Echoes of Time got really disappointing after story revealed the truth of the village and its ghost inhabitants . From this point, it begins to 'cheapen' the mission and purpose.

By the end of the game, I felt very unsatisfied with any victories and complete disappointment altogether.

I bought the Nintendo DS..Fianl Fantasy Chronicles: Echoes of Time for a grandson's birthday...he loves it. My grandson has many ds games and at this point, it is his favorite ds game. I am perfectly sure that he would recommend this game to all of his friends.

I have always been a final fantasty fan and I am glad to add this to my collection of other final fantasy games that I have. My collection is extentive and I plan on getting everyone on every system that is currently available from 1987 till the current dates. There is nothing to complain about this game or any of the others like it. You either like this sort of game and love final fantasy or you dont like this type of game and ignore its existence. Compared to all other games its in a class of its own.
