"You just made me say 'kweh'!"

So, I bought this game with some awesome art on it, see?

I put it into the Wii and hit 'start' see?

    And then BOOM.

AMAZING cut scene graphics hit me! I am in absolute LOVE with this game, it starts off with you, the player, being Chocobo, an exploring Chocobo in the Land of Sands with Cid, both being treasure hunters looking for the Gem of Power (or something I forget).

And then you find that, none other than IRMA and Volg are there and they got it first! But without even time enough to breathe, you're thrust into the world called Memoria into a town where every time the bell tolls, you lose your memories!

Chocobo must fight through countless dungeons to retrieve the memories of not only the townspeople, but also his dearest friend Cid! Witih the help of Rafaello, you save the memories of each person you come across!

The game is riddled with games and side options for you and your children to enjoy for hours on end. I've only just purchased it, and being a leveling monger as I am, am still playing it, and will most likely start over as many times as possible to enjoy it even further.

The game even has our beloved Mog in it as several super heros rumored to have been there for over 20 years! (though it's questionable as, you know, they all lose their memories).

Also, it's a classic style roleplay game. It's turn based, somewhat along the lines of pokemon dungeon if you think about it. If you move forward a square, that counts as your turn, and whatever you're fighting has every right to beat the living snot out of you. It gets tricky at times when you're in the dungeons where you have limited eye space, and there are special dungeons where you can't bring in items, level limits, 1 hp limits (I found this particularly irritating), and even item reversal limits.

Regardless of such, the game is immensely fun and very addicting, I find it hard to get myself away from the television long enough to let my family watch whatever's on (I'm very tempermental about who touches my console).

    So far I give it a 9/10.

    Why not all ten?

Because randomly bobbing mouths does not dubbing make.

It stays true to the final fantasy graphics style in the cutscenes, which, for Nintendo (much less the Wii), makes me a little happy final fantasy fangirl inside.

Hopefully others will enjoy it just as much as I have.

    Cute and Fun

    Created: 10/04/10
I originally bought this for my wife because she loved the Chocobo's Dungeon game from the Playstation days. I decided to sit down and play this game for myself (I'm a Final Fantasy fan, It was bound to happen) and find myself quite impressed with it. The game is truly enjoyable. The dungeons can feel a bit repetitive and the traps can be a pain, but even these minor cons aren't enough to diminish the game's fun factor.

As for the pros, well the music earned major kudos with me. Even though most of the background songs were recycled, it was very pleasant to hear the tunes from the past FF games. For my next pro I would have to say the job system. For me it's one of the strongest elements of this game because it provides a different dungeon crawling experience. My last pro would have to be the story. As always the Final Fantasy series never fails to provide a deep story with any of their games. It definitely stays true to the favored FF series, 2 thumbs up SE.

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon Wii

    Created: 15/07/10
This game has a very basic strategy, turn-based system. But the quality of this game is pretty good. Although the character's voices don't always match thier lips that is one small thing compared to the huge quality of this game. Unlike its predecessor for the playstation, this Chocobo's Dungeon uses a 3d take on this brilliant gameplay. You have so many different varieties of moves that can put you at an advantage or disadvantage whether or not you use them right. Even the most experienced player will have a hard time completing this game with no errors, but they would certainly have fun trying. This game has around 50 hours of gameplay if you want to do everything and it has some minigames that are pretty fun when you want to take a break from normal gameplay. I recommend this game for all gamers, average and hardcore. This game is fun for everyone.

    Chocobo's Dungeon on Wii

    Created: 31/07/08
This game has a host of lovable characters, and for the most part, the extensive voice acting is very well done, with only a few voices that could be improved. the game play is fun, but also challenging. This is a well polished dungeon crawler, thats definitely worth a play.

    Chocobos dungeon

    Created: 05/08/08
Chocobos Dungeon is a very fun and somewhat challenging game. The only problem I have with it is the overall length of the game. It ends before it begins. My 10 year old daughter loves it and I enjoyed it to. Lot's of options in game and kids love Chocobo. I'd say 7 out of 10 stars. Great game but way too short.
