) Finding the Love of Your Life is a great tool for individuals who want to look more deeply into their relationship and see if it has what it takes to make it for the long haul. It's ten principles for choosing the right partner help you think about areas you may have overlooked, especially if you are caught by the love bug and 'love is blind syndrome'. I especially like the '50 Item List of Helpful Similarities; such as, verbal skills, expected roles, family background. The book is a little outdated, but still worthwhile and one of the best in it's category.

Although I have heard the e-harmony.com ads, and was a young widow ten years ago, I haven't gotten involved in looking for a new "Love of My Life". This book has a lot of thought provoking reading which helps the reader decide what is important in a mate and what is going to make for a happy relationship. From reading this book, I have the feeling that e-harmony.com works, because it is so thoroughly thought out.

I like this book because I just got out of a long relationship, and by reading "Finding The Love of You Life" makes it easier for me not to make the same mistake again. Fourteen years is a long mistake and so far this book has been very helpful.
