Amazing True Story of an alien abduction in Dire Need of a Re-make!

     | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
    Created: 26/07/11
Although the "Hollywood" story line is often different than the actual abduction victims, this movie was still rated 5 stars by me considering how intriguing this particular true story goes. It is possibly the most well known documented case of an alien abduction ever recorded. The production of this movie includes emphasis where needed to deliver some shocking revelations using Mr. Waltons recollections, but the director had left out many, many interesting pieces. I would recommend anyone to view this movie. It includes an actual alien abduction of logger Travis Walton in front of many witness, horrible creatures medically tormenting an innocent man, and lost aboard what seems to be an actual flying saucer or alien space craft. If I said anymore you would know the whole movie so I stop here but will include this tidbit of useful information... The ("real" real) story delves much further into Mr. Waltons personal experience and I would love "Hollywood" to re-make this movie in its entirety according to the victim and author of the true story book "Fire in the Sky" by Travis Walton. It would be an instant hit and may finally complete what should have been originally said and taught.

    IsThere Little Green Guys?

    Created: 14/04/08
I've always been a fan of Sci-Fi movies, and thought this one was a little more interesting than most, as it involved the accounts of more than one person seeing an abduction, and one of the bunch being the subject of the 'abduction'. I don't pretend to understand these types of phenomenomes, and feel those who think it's happened to them are sincere in their belief of it's reality, just as those who believe they died have seen a white tunnel, and friends and family beckoning them forward. It became more interesting when the friends rescued him a few days later, finding him naked, cowering in a corner of a deserted building. His lack of response, sores by his eyes, and memory loss seemed to be selective, since he was able to remember enough to call them and say where he was. As his lack of response to them, questions, so forth went on, they didn't know what to do to help him. Just as he did start to come around, they threw a party for him, which I thought was on the strange side, and wasn't surprised he didn't do well with it! His gradual anger at them for doing nothing to help him was understandable, whereas them staying where they were in the first place when they saw what they thought to be something supernatural wasn't. I would have been out of there so fast no one would have seen my shadow! It made an interesting storyline, though, and brought up the question of extra-terrestial life in a way as to be more convincing, as the witnesse's stories matched when separated. Personally, I think the whole idea of abductions and tests is rediculous, as are tunnels with relatives beckoning, but that's my belief and opinion, not a judgement of others who do believe in it. Whether you do or don't, this is a better than average account of one such happening, and for those who eat this type of stuff up, I would recommend it highly. For those who don't, it's a fun movie to watch with others and discuss afterwords. I wouldn't recommend it for younger ones, though, as they tend to take things too literally, and there's scenes in this that will definitely give them nightmares! The guy who was 'abducted' had them as an adult; children would be targets for them! There are some parts I thought were vague, but pretty icky, so if you have a weak stomache, you might want to pass this one up and watch something more conventional! It's held my interest enough to watch more than a few times, and I liked it, overall. I rated it better than average, as it's not the run of the mill Sci-Fi abduction-type movie. Great with popcorn!

EBE's, UFO's and abductions amaze me and this movie contains all of them, it is not far fetched, so nothing out of the ordinary was added to this true story. Move over X-Files, here's the Travis Walton story...
