Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends - Season 1 (DVD, 2007, 2-Disc Set)

This DVD set is the complete 1st season of the series. It has 8 episodes on disc 1, and on disc 2 it is the
remaining 6 episodes and special features. I love this show, as a matter of fact not only do I love this show
but so does my child, and my spouse. It's a great show about imaginary friends, which the title should tell
you. The story revolves around a young boy named Mac, and his imaginary friend, Bloo. Season 1 begins
with Mac being forced by his mother to give Bloo up, because the two of them are always fighting with Mac's
older brother. They go to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, meet the Friends who live there and find out
that if Bloo stays, he's subject to their adoption policy. Mac is given the ultimatum of 'show up every day to
be with Bloo, or we adopt him out'. After some rocky moments like Mac's brother teaming with Dutchess, the
meanest "Friend" in the house to get rid of Bloo, and a girl wanting to adopt Bloo, everything seems fine. All
episodes are fun, imaginative and unique. I recommend this title to anyone who has a child, anyone who has
a hyper active child, anyone who is young at heart, and anyone who likes Cartoon Network shows.

I just love this show and to finally own the first season is awesome. This show is very cute and very funny. I really love the idea of watching it anytime i want. So if you love foster's home for imaginary friends i truly recommend you own this dvd.

It is on rare occasions that I stumble across impressive children's cartoons. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is one of them. The entire concept of the show is fresh and fun. The stories (at least two-thirds of the time) have surprisingly strong, positive messages to grow by. There is occasional rude humor found in the series, but besides that, I am very impressed by the quality of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. A definite must-have for the imaginitive person.

I bought the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (season 1) DVD about a month ago and I love it. I bought it as a gift of birthday for my boyfriend and I saw it first than him and seriously, I didn't want to give it to him, haha.

The characters are funny and unique. Our child has loved this series when we had cartoon network, but since we no longer have cable, we decided we needed to buy them so we can watch them over and over. Wish the series had not ended, it is one of the best cartoons we've ever seen!
