The Fox and the Hound (DVD, 2000, Gold Collection)

This movie teaches us that no matter how different two animals (humans) are in appearance,they can be true friends based on love, respect, trust and caring. No matter what the opinion is of the majority of others, two true friends can depend on each other for help, protection, and loyalty.
The scenes are beautiful in color, the songs are great and I love the sound that the young hound makes when he tries to bark.
This is an absolutely excellent movie. Parents should watch it with their children and explain to them the good morals that are being taught. Also, when the dog's owner is acting mean, children can be taught that he is not being kind toward others. Since the dog's owner does become nicer at the end of the show, children can be taught that people can change the way they act.

This is one of my favorite Disney movies. It's about an unlikely friendship between a fox named Tod and a hound named Copper. When they're young they believe they'll be best friends forever, but things seem to change once they've grown up. I won't give away the ending for you who haven't seen it yet.

If you enjoy Disney movies, then you'll more than likely enjoy this movie as well. It's a classic!

This is a wonderful tale of two unlikely best friends. The Fox and the Hound goes to show that friends can be found anywhere, even if society tells you that you shouldn't be best friends. I bought this movie for my personal collection, as it has always been a favorite of mine, and as a future teacher, I hope to show this to my classes to help teach tolerance of everyone, even if they are different from you.

The Fox and The Hound happens to be my All time Favorite Disney Film! The Only part I detest is when Mama Fox gets "it" from the hunter-grrrr. So as to not upset my Grandchildren(and me) I Zoom right through to where ;BIG MAMA; finds Todd-IMHO that is where the story of True Friendship begins and shows everyone that Peace and Friendship can BE..:)

Beautiful movie about a fox who was orphaned as a cub, and taken in by a very nice lady. He becomes friends with a hound, as a little cub and pup there friendship is easy, but becomes complicated when they realize how they are unlikely friends. Great movie, 5 stars.
