The Fox and the Hound (VHS, 1994)

I loved this movie as a child and now at 25 I still love it!! My daugher age 2 loved it too and I loved watching it with her!! It is about a fox that loses its mother so an owl and a woodpecker and a sparrow help an older widowed lady to find it!! She takes it in and raises it!! A neighbor of theirs gets a new hound dog puppie! The fox and the hound dog become friends and then the hound dog and his master go on a long hunting trip! When they come back they have grown up and the dogs master is after the fox but the hound dog does not lead him to the fox he lets him escape!! It is really a great wholesome family movie!! One that you and your children can enjoy time and time again!!!!

This is one of my favorite Disney movies. It's about an unlikely friendship between a fox named Tod and a hound named Copper. When they're young they believe they'll be best friends forever, but things seem to change once they've grown up. I won't give away the ending for you who haven't seen it yet.

If you enjoy Disney movies, then you'll more than likely enjoy this movie as well. It's a classic!

Walt Disney's "The Fox and the Hound" is a great movie for a grade-school aged child. My son is not quite that age, and there are some animal fight scenes that were tastefully done... but not exactly what a younger child may need to see. We love movies with animated animals, so in general we still watch it. I just fast-forward through the stuff I don't think he should see at this age.

a very cute story a young fox, todd becomes friends with the hound dog copper whom realizes he is supposed to hunt animals like foxes one of my favorite movies copper and todd retain there friendship a great movie for kids and adults alike.

This is a cute movie about a fox and a hound that become good friends at a young age; and when grown up, they face obstacles; but they never lose the most important thing, which is the caring and friendship that they have for one another.

I bought the movie because my daughter wanted it. She has a big collection of Disney movies. Thanks to ebay, I have all of the movies that she wanted to have that I could not find anywhere else.

I don't think there was anything about the movie that I disliked.

I recommend it to all kids out there.
