Movie synopsis

In addition to scoring one of the biggest surprise hits in television history, NBC generated a veritable pop culture phenomenon with its twentysomething sitcom smash FRIENDS. Set in New York City, the series chronicled the lives of six best friends as they navigated through the ups and downs of romance and career from the confines of their local coffee shop and some pretty fabulous Manhattan apartments. While the series originally rode to success on the coattails of its Thursday night predecessor SEINFELD, what differentiated FRIENDS from the rash of copycat sitcoms that followed--and made it a bona fide hit in its own right--was the unique chemistry of its fine ensemble cast: Courtney Cox as neurotic clean freak Monica; David Schwimmer as her endearingly hangdog brother Ross; Matt LeBlanc as none-too-bright actor-wannabe Joey Tribbiani; Matthew Perry as sarcastic computer programmer Chandler Bing; Lisa Kudrow as goofy new-age free spirit Phoebe Buffay; and, of course, Jennifer Aniston as reformed spoiled rich girl Rachel Green (whose highly influential fashion sense launched a thousand hairstyles). This collection includes every episode from the popular series' sixth season.

Friends... with a twist!

Created: 29/07/10
I was kidding with the title. But seriously, an episode of Friends, without a twist? It doesn't exist. My favorite thing about season 6 of Friends is everything. That's putting it nicely.
It begins where the previous season left off, with all six of our favorite promiscuous buddies--which are, for the most part, completely wasted beyond belief--in a wedding chapel in Las Vegas. What better way to start it off with a bang, hmm? The season gets better as Ross decides not to get an annulment on his and Rachel's drunken marriage vows. Joey get's a foreign roommate from Australia who he can't keep his eyes off of. And Phoebe sings about a certain, "Little black curly hair."
It really is one of the highlights of the epic Friends saga, and should not be missed by any 90's sitcom fanatic. It's packed with plenty of laughs and some special features to boot.
I haven't had the chance to completely finish the season, but I've seen them all at some point or another.

I give this season, a 5 star review. It's just really funny, and there isn't anything I don't like about it. It's also hard for me to review a sitcom, because it doesn't fall into many different categories I think. I would break it down into whatever categories I could think of for this review, but I don't think it's necessary. If you love Friends, you need to get season 6. If you love sitcoms, you need to get season 6. If you love 90's tv shows, you need to get season 6.

I guess if Friends doesn't quite tickle your funny bone, you could go with some other series, but for those who can't get enough of sassy Monica, and sarcastic Chandler, this is where you can turn... Speaking of, what kind of name is Chandler anyway?

This is a great DVD set. Its one of those seasons that you'll never forget. This is the season where Ross and Rachel get married, Chandler moves in with Monica, Everybody reminisces about what 'could have been,' and SO much more. Its definately a must-have for even thouse who may be considering a Friend's collection.

Friends Season 6

Best scene... the one where Ross gets High. Rachel makes a bad dessert. Monica and Ross rat each other out. And Phoebe is in love with Jack Costoe... excellent episode to an overall great season.

BEST SITCOME EVER MADE ON TV

Created: 10/12/06
This is a show that when you watch only 2 episodes you become addicted. There is not an episde that will not make you laugh, there is not an episode that will not make you fall more in love with these 6 goofy, smart, and funny characters. You can't even pick your favorite character, it is just the best TV sitcom ever made. I own all the 10 seasons, watched every single episode. The 1st 5 seasons, there are episodes that I know line by line, that is just a sign that you can never get tired of this show. Buy it, you won't regret it.
