Excellent game overall. 100's of Hrs. of entertainment

The single campaign for this game is rather short, but still loads of entertainment as it will also train you well for the best part of this game....THE MULTIPLAYER. I've played this game for almost 10 months now(until my console scratched it up...which is why I'm buying it for a second time.)

The reason the online play is so good, is because of the VEHICLES, the DRONES, etc, etc. There's also a good number of maps you can visit, including the extra maps available for download for a reasonable price(especially if you want giant maps where you can get in dogfights or scorch the earth from above!

You can either play as a squad, or you can roam on your own and pick off whomever you choose(on the opposing side.) All online play is capturing points/objectives, pushing the frontlines back into enemy territory until the last point is captured. I love this game.

When it first came out, the servers were jam-packed full of players. Those numbers have dropped off a bit, since all of the other Xbox360 gme releases, so sometimes it can be a bit frustrating that you can't always play your favorite map with a huge population of players. But you can always create your own session and invite whomever you choose.

This game is well worth the money...especially if you're getting it used(or new) from Ebay. It appears the online play will be a round for a little while longer. But I've noticed recently that most of the players who are still playing online, are pretty good. But that's not always the case. Just buy it and try it!

Enjoy.

Fun Overlooked FPS games still online

Created: 05/02/11
I bought this game because its kind of a prequel to the game Homefront as its made by the same company .I was very surprised at how good this game is .When this game came out it was overlooked due to the massive popular Call of Duty games. The game plays just like The battlefield games . You take over and hold positions on the map until one side has taken over the whole map or the time ends. There's a free map and conquer mode to download on xbox live too.online you can drive tanks and all kinds of armoured vehicles . Also you can fly planes and attack helicopters. I didn`t think anyone would still be online playing this game but 3 yrs after its release i can still find a game no problem. The graphics are in between Black Ops and Battlefield in quality and the Maps are huge . The solo campaign is fairly epic and very atmospheric . My only gripe with the game is the control layout is a little bit different to other FPS but once you play for an hour its like second nature . If you see this game for $20.00 or less snap it up as its way better than anything you can download . This game makes Breach on xbox arcade look pathetic .

Frontlines: Fuels of War (Xbox 360)

Frontlines is not a great game by any means, but, it is a pretty good attempt at what Battlefield 2 for the pc was (BF2 for the console sucked).

If you like this kind of multiplayer warfare kind of game, there is something here for you to like. Lots of vehicles (altho the ground vehicles dont have a good feel to them), big maps, and up to 50 players online.

The solo campaign is basically practice mode for going live.

Good game, if you devote some time to the game, some of it's fun stuff will become apparent to you. I'd give it an 8.0 out of 10

Frontlines - For the Achievement Addict

Created: 06/04/10
I have played this game almost all the way through and I would have to say it is pretty average. It's no COD Modern Warfare 2 for sure but for you gamers who are committed to raising your Xbox Live Gamerscore, I would recommend it to you.

The gameplay is somewhat average mainly because it takes about 20 rounds with an assault rifle to kill someone and 2 shots with a .50 sniper rifle to kill someone...unless you shoot them in the head. The thing that keeps me interested in playing it though, is that for one, the easy achievements and two, the many variety of weapons and vehicles especially. The futuristic or not-so-futuristic drones keep the game interesting and give you added support when you are moving into high density trooper territory.

There is a lot to criticize and a lot to be improved on the game but I'd rather spend the time I take criticizing it to play some Modern Warfare 2. :D

My rating: 2/5

Frontlines: Fuel of War

Frontlines: Fule of War is similar to other games out there(Call of Duty, Battlefield). I liked how the single player mode gives you challenging missions and isn't short like most games are. It challenges your knowledge of your own abilities in the game to finish the missions. The graphics are not as advanced as in other games you see. But, they are better than how games used to be a couple years ago. The game offers a variety of weapons and character classes. I loved the feature of the remote control weapons(mini-tank, min-helicopter, etc.). These weapons actually depict real weapons used by our military today and serve very interesting when it comes to online or system link play. Overall I was extremely satisfied with my purchase of the game. I didn't know anything about the game before buying it and I love it. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes military games. Oh ya, and be prepared to die a few times in the game. It isn't as easy as Call of Duty.
