Fuzion Frenzy (Xbox, 2001)

Fuzion frenzy is a very simple yet fantastic game for all ages . It is not a very in depth game but for what it lacks it makes up in it's fast and easy gameplay . This is part of the new age party games that are being created .

How the game is mainly played 1 - 4 players can play at one time in one screen no seperate screen images . If you play by yourself or with less than 4 the computer will play against you and you can choose the difficulty from easy to hard of the computer players . There are male and female characters to play with so don't be afraid to include the family .

Now you can either play tournament mode or just single game mode . All together there are over 40 mini games . If you play in tournament mode the computer randomly chooses the mini games you play . If you play tournament mode you can play 2 , 4 , or 6 rounds . Each round has 3 mini games that you play against each other and 1 fuzion frenzy game . The fuzion frenzy game is taking the points you collected by winning the mini games and betting them or saving them on this round of play . you collect the orbs in fuzion frenzy mode and avoid obstacles and other players while trying to gather and dunk the orbs for a score. Now I do understand this may sound a little difficult but it is not at all very very simple .

Mini game mode choose a favorite mini game you like and play it against the computer or other players .

The game itself is very simple use the joy stick to move around the selected level , and use the A button to jump and the B button to attack or action suck as ducking or using a weapon.

Now there are no actual weapons in the game but a cartoonish hammer so no true violence but a few wacks or kicks to another opponent or attacking bug and such .

My 7yr old daughter who is not that great at video games loves this game to death and has improved enough to beat me once in a while . This game is great for the family and friends and great for children to play and master and buld they're confidence .

The multiple games are very fun and short lasting around 2 minutes each and they vary from racing each other a spiral walkway ducking and jumping over bumps and poles as the spiral way speeds up , to racing somewhat of a bumperboat craft around a waterway path to get to the finish line first .
Some of the games are challenging while some are simple as can be .

A great addition to any gamer or family's collection for the entertainment of changing challenges that never boar even the best .

It's a party game. Up to four players at a time, or 1 player vs 3 cpu, and so on. There is a whole long list of mini games you can choose from. Each games requires you to be fast moving and fast thinking. If you like party, puzzle, or fast stragedy games, you will not be disapointed in this game! It's fun!

Only erk with this games is sometimes the camera, which always shows you the whole game--which is a good thing, but sometimes it shows you too much of the background, making it difficult to focus in on the game that is acually taking place. It does not do it to all the games, perhaps not even the majority, but it can be annoying at times where there is so much going on already, that you don't need the background noise.

But I wouldn't let the camera thing deter you away from choosing this game, because there are so many good and fun features, that it would only end up being a minor annoyance that would hardly even notice after all the fun you'd be having!

I love this game. First of all, I'm not a huge video game player. We were looking for something that the entire family can play together. My child just turned 4 so we needed something that he could grasp as well. Also, if I want to set up a tournament with friends over the house it is still challenging enough that adults will have a good time with it also.
The game is set up so that you can either play a tournament or various mini challeges. So, up to four different people can play, or you can play solo. I love the fact that you can go back and play the same mini game over and over again. I realize that the game is old at this point, but it's really a classic. I bought two of them once I found them in great condition. It's truly a great game for all ages to enjoy.

This game is acceptable for families. Four players is a plus and the variety of games is decent, but not great. You'll find yourself "collecting the crystals" over and over in every zone you pass through (it's fun at first, but the repetition is unforgivable). Why they consider it a different mini game when all that changes is the layout of the stage I don't understand. The rest of the games are mildly entertaining, some are actually memorable like where you duck & jump over posts (only two buttons to press, but it's so exciting!). Overall I was looking for a game to bring back the fun we had with Mario Party on N64, but this one falls short. The lack of the 'board game' segment and the fact that most of the mini games are just not all that entertaining will doom this game to obscure cult status and nothing more. A mediocre game, best used with friends.

This game brings out the spirit of competition in everyone who plays video games in your home. Everyone can play at the same time and see who has the better skills. Lots of graphics, levels, and animation that keep your attention. This was purchased as a gift for my son who absolutely loved the demo of this he got with another game, and had to have this one. It is one that will fill in those snow days with jam packed action and the music on this one is pretty great. It is suitable for children of all ages.
