) Easy to use and small enough to carry in your pocket when not in use. The eTrex 30 replaces my Delorme PN-60 that I found to be rather cumbersome both physically and interactively. Great for hunting, hiking and geocaching due to compact size. Good accuracy and fast satellite acquisition for a mid range priced GPS unit.

) This unit has many nice features, but has an EXTREMEMLY weak set of instuctions. It does not come with an owners/user manual. It can only be downloaded from Garmin website. This is a big negative. Once you start working with it, things get better the more you use it. It makes no sense to produce a GPS with all these featues, then make it hard to learn how to use them. I don't want to sound all negitive because it does have a lot of nice featues.

It is totally worth the price!

My husband loves it. But it would be better for him to get one with the touch screen feature. Overall, he loves it. He carries around with the GPS.
Great product, the accuracy and features make it worth the money!

I bought this product for my husband, who geocaches all the time. He absolutely loves it--has nothing negative to say about it. The GPS is leaps and bounds more accurate than previous GPS devices he has cached with. Highly recommended.

so far so good... I have to do more tests

so far so good, i would like to test it a little more but I used to have a vista hcx that was great and now I think this is awesome, the new menu is good, the new features are great, the profile option is so so usefull and the glonass capability is one of his strongest points, I'll be writing more about it latter
