    This scanner is compact, light and perfect for those who travel. It works well with windows 7. Just download and install the Win 7 driver from the Genius website. Comes with its own file management software, which is pretty good, but also works well with Nuance Paperport 11 and I suppose it will work with other document management software also. Seems to be as well built as other notebook scanners. Have used it for two weeks now with no negatives so far.

    This is a great working scanner. I run a mobile business and wanted to scan receipts for purchase I make while on the road and this scanner serves that purpose well. However, I would not recommend the software that came with. I wanted to scan to PDF and I found really good program on CNET, MetaDMS it works great with scanner, better then the software package with it. This scanner is a real bargain for the price. The Twain driver works great, just not the software, but with a third party software, this scanner is well worth the money.

    I do some traveling,so my paperwork is due daily.So I needed something portable. I looked at a lot of different scanners. The wand was totally Not appealing and looked to be unreliable,can't verify that so it's my opinion.The
    Genius looked more workable.I have home tested it and it is a GREAT little unit.Scanning is fast and easy.The installation is very simple.Very compact and will fit easily in any computer case. Great Buy
