HEARTSICK AND DESPERATE TO return home to american, georgina anderson boards the maiden anne disguised as a cabin boy never dreaming she'll be forced into intimate servitude at the whim of the ships irrepressible captian james malory.

ok, normally i will complain about the fact that the hero and heroine don't really meet until several hundred pages into the book..........

and then of course i'd complain about how long the boat trip was and how the strain of waiting for the jig to be up was fustrating as all........ and how the lack of interaction,,,,,,,,,, but the family high jinks makes up for it. by keeping the reader amused..........

but from the time they get to the shores of america and till the end.
the book is just about gold........

you know james wants to get married but he's too stubborn to do it himself, so he makes............. her brothers do it for him.............

and then of course the brotherly love with his family.... once they get back to england............

of course the first few chapters of this book are re-run from the previous book as the two books are inter connected.

love only once

Gentle Rogue by Johanna Lindsey

Who can not love a good romance. The Malory series by Johanna Lindsey is a must read. She writes with such ease and flare. Her writing flows from the page in a very easy and intriguing read. With each book I read of the Malory family and their escapades, I wanted more. This book I enjoyed immensely. The air of sarcasm and banter was just fanatastic between the characters. You get this with Ms. Lindsey's writing. Read this book and then read the other Malory stories. You will not be disappointed.

I LOVED this book ...absolutely loved it. Action packed, funny, romantic, and wonderful novel. I rarely say anthing is super great...but this book is SOOOO GREAT. It definitely deserves more stars. James Malory and Georgie were so beautifully described you couldn't help but identify with them. Definitely a re-read.
