The clumsy ape man from Jay Ward's 1967 television cartoon takes on a jungle of another kind in live-action when he follows a visiting San Francisco resident back to the City by the Bay. There aren't as many trees, but he somehow manages to find plenty of other things to crash into--not the least of which are modern society's social norms.

) I'm so in love with George of the Jungle. It was a favorite cartoon of mine when I was little. They made a great movie for us to revisit our childhood fun times. And the grandkids can enjoy it as well !!
Goofy and Unusual

This is not a typical Disney movie. I wasn't expecting something like this from the trailer that was on Beauty and the Beast and so forth. I was mildly shocked that Disney would allow this kind of movie to be released under their name but it's probably meant to get adult viewers to watch their movies too. This movie is ridiculously goofy and I loved it. It was so much better than the sequel and the series on CN because it had just enough zaniness to function.

Great movie for kids. Music, action and lots of fun. No overly adult sexual content or bad language to worry about popping up.

the character of George is absoultely aborable and fun to watch. he has such a sweet and goofy nature. The narrator was also hilarious. The most hysterical scene was the "bad guy falls in poop". Yes its slapstick unblieveable and funny. but I love it!
