GET ON DA MIC is the first pure rap karaoke game especially one that features unbelieveable music from some of today's hottest artists. You get hits like "Hypnotize (Notorious B.I.G.)", "Beautiful (Snoop Dogg)", "The Jump Off (Lil Kim & Mr. Cheeks)", "Hey Mama (Black Eyed Peas)", and "Jesus Walks" (Kanye West)" just to name a few. MTV host Sway is featured. The most positive aspects of the game: an excellent selection of hip hop songs; the fame dynamic gives you more reason to play; and there are lots of freestyle tracks (yes you can create your own rhymes)! This game is good if you like to sing with your friends or want to provide entertainment at a party. The karaoke graphics are alot better in this game then alot of the others. This is pretty much a gangsta game, where if you impress the crowd by singing you can buy cars, watches, houses, boats, and clothes. You can be either a girl or boy and have a choice from a wide selection of songs. Try it before you buy it though. Please remember to rate my review when your done and thank you!!!

I decided to buy this game cuz everyone had been dissing it. So I just had to try it for myself. Well, I tried it. My opinion is that I can see why hardcore gamers WOULD hate it, but rap lovers like me have NO reason not to love the game. I mean it gives you the opportunity to perform your favorite rap songs like Dear Mama, The Jump Off, and Hypnotize. All in all, I liked this game cuz it was very realistic when it came to portraying the rap game.

i love this game...its interactive and singing on the mic is crazy...i purchased it because it looked like a good game and i was right, it has a great selection of songs, and an overall good story mode...the characters couldve looked better but when u customize them it looks better..i give this game a 9 out of 10

This game is a good hip hop karaoke game. Has great environments to play in and crowd effects. The one thing i dont like is you cant clearly hear the person's voice singing.
