) This book as well as other Gifts in a Jar, are excellent for gift giving, for holidays or any occasion for that fact. Easy to prepare, great to give. And if you have never received one, purchase a book and give them. When I first received one, I wasn't too keen over it...but when I decided to prepare it, you really don't need much to finish it. And certaintly a joy to eat...Have fun making them with your children or grandchildren, and enjoy giving!!

) I got this to make xmas present I think that it will work well wish there was more recipes, about 20 i think but it will work and the recipes i tried tasted good.

These books are terrific! They provide everything you need to make professional looking gifts. I made a bunch for Christmas gifts and they came out beautiful! Great way to give an inexpensive gift to a teacher, neighbor or friend.

great for gifts!

I like to paint jars, and when I need a gift I fill them with cookie mix or something else, and personalize them. This book has recipes printed on nice cards that can be attached to the jar. I don't need to write a thing anymore! Saves me time and has all the right measurements to fit into a 1-quart jar. Wish I had this a long time ago!
