Gilmore Girls: The Complete Seventh Season (DVD, 2007, 6-Disc Set)

My mother and I are very much like Loralei and Rory Gilmore and we big fans of the show. In our opinion there aren't many family bonding shows anymore for everything is being replaced by the yes amusing 'reality' of it all. Ebay gives you the opportunity to get to meet and greet new people and share in similar interests in such cases items/shows etc that are no longer a part of the 'now' of it all but will forever remain in our lives - some of which are even responsible in a sense for making us the people we are today (remember morals?). I thank Ebay for giving people like me the chance to remember and recapture a part of my youth and especially AT A PRICE I CAN AFFORD. When I see the costs of things these days I nearly pass out. The Gilmore Girls tv series offered an age of innocence, a drama that could 'knit' families together. This is a 'simple' way to recapture a little of what was lost without 'losing' what you work so hard to earn. THANK YOU EBAY!!

My preteen daughter and I have gotten hooked on the Gilmore Girls, a fantastic series about a mother-daughter relationship through the years. Wonderful, witty, writing and superb casting. We hate that this is the last season. Watching all seven seasons has been a good bonding experience for us. Rory, the daughter in the series, has been a positive influence on my daughter. Rory always excelled in high school, was kind to others, didn't succumb to peer pressure as far as dating and dressing, and aspired to Harvard/Yale and aced it once she was there. Yet there is always enough real-life drama to keep it believable. I highly recommend for mothers/daughters to watch together and discuss.

Gilmore girls has always been my favorite show... ever since I discovered it on DVD last year. The dialogue is quick and snappy, full of pop culture references as usual, the relationships between the characters are very believable, and the storylines, while sometimes a bit dramatic, are usually interesting enough to keep me riveted and my husband in the other room watching football/basketball/hockey/bas​eball. It's a wonderful semi-family-friendly show. I say "semi" because it is mostly appropriate for teenage children and up - I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids (not that they would get it) due to some relationship content that may not be appropriate. I will say that Gilmore is well acted, well scripted, and well executed and I would recommend this, along with every previous season, to anyone interested in a great "chick" drama show. I love, love, love it!

I waited for this season on DVD so I could watch it all at once. It was fantastic. However, I can't believe it's over. It ended in a way that semmed to me like they could keep it going. I know Rory is leaving, but Stars Hollow is a show unto itself! I will miss watching these characters and their fast paced way of talking. I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

This was a great series on TV but when it was a new show I didn't watch it. My children were small and I guess I just missed it. My daughter started to watch the reruns that were being played and we both got hooked. They reran all the eppisodes in order up to the end of season 6 and then they started over so I had to buy the 7th season. This show is great for all ladys of any age. I would recomend this show to anyone and it is great to watch with your teenage girls. It is a show you could watch together and both enjoy.
