Executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer recruited contemporary R&B diva Alicia Keys to bookend the collection with a cover of "People Get Ready" with ex-con/budding musician Lyfe Jennings, and a stirring gospel-tinged collaboration with composer Trevor Rabin. ~ James Christopher Monger

If you love Motown music, you will love this CD! some of the best music from a great decade of music. I enjoyed the movie when I saw it, and realized that part of the "mood" of the movie was the awesome music in the background.

It's not the little mermaid

The most unusual Disney film I've ever seen, about one of those fabled turning point in American sport. Inspirational, and with a perfectly crafted soundtrack. After finally catching it on television, I went onto ebay and bought it the same evening. Highly recommended.
