The Gnome-Mobile (DVD, 2004)

I can remember watching this as a little girl with my mother & sister. I loved the classic & simple tale then & I wanted to share it with my children now. My kids ages 3 & 4 were quick to point out the 2 main child actors in this film are the same two from Mary Poppins, another favorite in this house. The first time I watched it with them it brought back so many memories of simpler days & hearing them sing along with it now makes me smile. The story is about 2 Gnomes that live in the Redwood Forest & a logging company that threatens to cut it down. A simple tale full of laughs but with a good message to pass on to the next generation. This movie sure beats most of what is out there today & I would fully recommend to anyone with children.

The Gnome mobile is a magical mystery tour through the Redwoods! It is a fun filled adventure that still entertains today! It is fun to see Walter Brennan star in the 2 lead roles simultaneously! I really appreciate how Mr Brennan did not allow vanity to prevent him from giving a top notch performance as the lead Gnome...he performs with out his dentures to allow us the viewer to fully accept and embrace his portrayal of the little Gnome. This movie is another example of the testimony of Disney at it's best! Good, Wholesome family entertainment that will stand up to the test of time!

Great Disney movie with old time values. I love all the actors and the little Gnomes. I wanted to make this Disney DVD a part of my other Disney movies. I only wish Disney would go back to this type of family entertainment.

This is an all time classic movie. I enjoyed it as a child and with my children and we actually wore out a VHS tape. They are all grown now & I have a grand child & was overjoyed to find this fabulous movie from my child hood. I can't wait to receive the DVD so that I can share it with the third generation of my family!!!This is a must have for parents, grandparents or any one that needs a feel good movie. It sparks the imagination like only a Disney can.....

This is a great movie for the whole family! The movie has no bad lanuage. It is a light hearted movie with great color and sound. It is Walter Brennan at its best.
