God of War: Chains of Olympus (Special Edition: Battle of Attica) (PlayStation Portable, 2007)

If this is the demo, then I just can't wait to see the real thing! The graphics are among the best I have seen on the PSP so far and the worlds are large and explorable.The story for the Demo was great, it explains how and why things are happening but doesn't take up half the game with cutscenes and the like. Now to the best part, the action. Kratos has never fought so brutally, with some new weapons promised to be in the full game this should be a great fighting experience. This demo is so amazing it could almost be a game by itself.You start of in Attica trying to defend it against the Persian Invasion, the moment you start you are already fighting a group of persians on top of some building. After taking care of them you sink a Persian warship with a nearby ballista. You then drop through the roof and fight more Persians, you easily kill them and so you walk over to the door and try to open it when a huge cyclops burst in and tries to squish you, however before it can a even bigger monster sticks it head through the door and eats it. you then have to fight the monster which turns out to be a basilisk. You have to hit it until its low on life which is when you have to swing its head against the walls with your chain then when its recovering leap up and stab its eye, then quickly run over to the cyclops's dropped club and smash it on the basilisks head making it run away. follow it outside in time to see it crawling over the wall of Attica run over and break down the gate with a battering ram to get inside. fight your way through Attica stopping along the way to shoot ballista at the basilisk until you get to the palace where the Persian king is in a short cutscenes follows where Kratos tells him to "get out or die" naturally the king says no and starts to fight you, after bringing him down to red life (avoiding his extremely long sword and powerful magic) block his sword attack, hit the sword out of his head and stab him. Another short cutscenes follows where the king is laying against the wall and begs for mercy from Kratos saying that "you can have my kingdom,my gold ,my women" Kratos laughs and say "Your material possessions are of no use to me, the only thing I want is your life" and Kratos grabs a box and smashes the kings head until hes dead.All that in just a demo! Also included with the demo are special behind the scenes interviews and a narrated walkthrough of the new God of war. This demo is definately worth getting..unless you can wait until March 4 2008, which i definately couldn't. So get out there and kick some Persian booty!

I'm a huge fan of God of War games, and once I heard about this game, I got so happy about it. But there was one problem: I didn't sign up on time to receive this special edition of the upcoming God of War game for PSP. Hopefully I found it on eBay later, and bought it with no doubts. The demo is fantastic, and it's the best PSP game I've ever seen on any handheld. If you're fan of Kratos, then you must have this great game.

For the God of War saga...this is one of the best. Kratos continues his campaign of taking on the forces of the universe and ancient Greece. Action & motion is so life-like that you feel in complete control of the game. This is a must-have for any gamer.

The God of War series transfers to the PSP beautifully. The controls are great, the graphics are easily the best I've seen on the PSP, the music is fantastic, and they even threw in a great "Making Of" video, and a God of War keychain. This is a must buy for any God of War fan.

Absolutly the best demo I've played on PSP. Tons of fun packed into a little hand held unit. I am a GOW fan for the PS2 versions. I have to say I will own both the PSP version and the PS3 versions on the first day they are released. This demo gives you a good idea of the game play not only do you fight the average everyday foot solders but you also get a chance to take a crack at 2 more challenging opponents. I don't want to spoil it for you. The only downfall is that it is only a demo and not the full length game...Can't wait to be fighting Kratos style again soon.
