Going Overboard (DVD, 1999)

I bought this movie because it has Adam Sandler in it. The movie starts out with Adam Sandler's character explaining that this movie is a no budget film, not low budget, no budget; they just had access to a huge ship and a lot of pretty women.. He also explains that his character in the movie wants to be the ship's comedian.
This movie is kind of stupid, but any die-hard Adam Sandler fan should probably own this movie. I'm a huge fan of Adam Sandler and I do not believe I'd watch it again.

This must have been Adam Sandler's first movie. It is absolutely pathetic. No acting, improvisations, and totally boring. Even the sorry jokes by the so-called onboard comedian were outdated. The only positive about this movie is that in the very beginning, Adam says "this is a VERY low budget movie" so he does give warning. If you continue to watch it after this announcement, than don't complain because he told you so. Also, the filmography is extremely poor, couldn't even consider converting this one to HD.

Can't get into it. I bought it for the simple fact that Adam Sandler stars in it but its no Happy Gilmore. I rate it exactly like Adams Sandlers Punch Love Drunk.....NO STARS.......BORING......with no point.

As much as I like Adam Sandler in his movies, this film is just horrible to watch and it is obvious in the first few minutes its going to be a bad movie. I now know why it was not released in Australia. ( Must not let curiousity get the better of me again before purchasing from overseas ).

Adam Sandler is such an awesome actor and all of his movies are great but this one in particular I really love! It's so funny and so original! He does a great job and plays his true funny/angry self!
