| Goofy and his son Max were enjoying a peaceful day of fishing, when Keelhaul Pete absconds with Pete and PJ. Now it's up to Goofy and Max to travel to Spoonerville Island and venture through the jungle to rescue their friends. As either character, you'll take on an army of surly swashbucklers as you dodge exploding cannon balls and search dank dungeons on your way to the final showdown with Keelhaul Pete. Along the way, you'll have to dig for treasure and solve puzzles to find the keys that will allow you to enter the pirate's hideout and face Pete. If you aren't feeling up to the task of battling a battalion by yourself, have a friend join you for some two-player cooperative action. | |

) Disney's Goof Troop on the Super Nintendo is developed by Capcom, who has an excellent track record for making Disney games. Goof Troop is no exception. Even in todays world of complex game consoles, this game offers a co-op adventure with action and puzzle elements that is highly enjoyable. Play as Goofy (who is stronger but slower) and/or Max (who is fast but weak) through 5 lengthy stages as you fight a group of pirates to rescue Pete and PJ. Use a variety of items like grappling hooks, shovels, and kick-blocks to fight and solve puzzles to advance. The game is a bit on the short side but that is it's only real setback. if you don't mind older games and need something new to play with your buddies, Goof Troop will get the job done well.

It's from Capcom and for the SNES so you know it's good. It's not as entertaining as Aladdin; but in fun short-play through type games, like these, the difference is not much. A great game to have if you like good playable games. ALSO, it's two players for a funner experience.

Wow! Good Storyline! Great Game Play and Puzzles! Also can be two-player! I almost think that the PC game Virtual Villagers took a hint from this game!

goof troop is two player

the game itself is sort of monotomous, but it is two player and it is one of our few two player games, but unfortunately that is the only reason it gets as much play as it does
