Nearly all 14 of the album's tracks have become classic rock radio standards over the years. This period in particular saw Miller streamline his early blues rock sound into something more mainstream-friendly. With not a single weak track in the bunch, the creme de la creme would have to include the tasty rockers "Jungle Love," "Take the Money and Run," "Rock N' Me," "The Joker," "Fly Like An Eagle," and "Jet Airliner."

A classic rock must have.

I finally got my old turntable up and running. I was sure I had a Steve Miller album in my collection. I was looking forward to hearing it again but it wasn't there. Must have been my sisters or something.
Well this is even better. All the best of Steve Miller. I wasn't a die hard fan like I was for Queen or Zeppelin so I didn't miss some of the more obscure titles on the original albums.
For the fan like me this is a great "greatest hits" version. Everything is there. A must have.

One of the Best CD's ever Produced!

Created: 03/06/06
In my-never-to-be-humble opinion, The Steve Miller Band is probably one of the best if not the best band God ever put together. This CD is a compilation of most of the best songs the band put out. I had this CD for many years and wore it out, yes wore it out. Had to order another from Ebay and luckily was able to find it for a really great price. I coulda ordered it from our local music store, but what's the fun in that. If you don't already own this one, get it! You won't be sorry.

Great listening CD; Sharp Vocals and Instrumentals

I went to see The Steve Miller Band this past August. There wasn't much difference between their playing now, compared to the music off of the CD. Playing the CD is like being at the concert again! Great!
