More specifically, this is the disc of hits compiled for that release, sold separately, just in case you have no interest in the original release's second disc of new material (which included some hits in its own right, like "Scream," "Earth Song," "You Are Not Alone," and "They Don't Care About Us"). This covers 1979's Off the Wall through 1991's Dangerous and isn't quite thorough, but it does contain 15 of Michael Jackson's biggest singles, from "Rock with You" through "Remember the Time," many of which were major pop touchstones, unavoidable during their peaks. ~ Andy Kellman

MJ CD Review

Created: 05/08/09
No Matter what you think about MJ you can't deny that the Man has made Music that the World Over Knows By Heart and this CD proves that point.
As a Writer,Vocalist, and Arranger MJ Brings alot to the table.
From "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough in the 70's, Billie Jean 80's, Remember The Time 90's, the Man brings it.
Now upon his death it is a part of History
This CD is for anyone that grew up with MJ's music and still enjoys all of his hits.
This is a jammin' CD!
Every song is a winner
It's definitely worth the money

The Undisputed King Of Pop

Created: 12/07/09
I love this CD and I purchased it to pay homage to my favorite musical artist, Michael Jackson. It is an addition to my already extensive MJ collection and I was deeply affected by his recent passing, so I felt compelled to make this purchase. The liner notes in the booklet gives great insight into to his magic, persona and the eclectic array of friends to which all ascribe to his recognition as the eminent reigning King of Pop. This CD displays his ability to evolve from one style of music; love ballads with smooth vocals, socially aware lyrics to dance/club beats. It's lively, timely and relevant just as the artist is and will forever be.

Greatest Hits: History Vol. 1 - Jackson, Michael

Created: 13/07/09
With the death of The King of Pop (this is how I will choose to remember him) I was reminded that I hadn't bought any CD'S in years and had no Michael Jackson music on disc. So I decided that this will be a perfect addition to my collection. I also didn't know if the prices might go up and this price was just right. It seemed, that no sooner had I made the purchase, I'll be darned if it was at my door.

Same as Cd1 from History Past Present and Future Book 1

Created: 26/08/09
This is a great Album if you do not own The History Past Present and Future Book 1 from 1995. This cd is the exact same as cd 1 from that, the only difference is the cover , the booklet inside is the exact same as well. On its own merits its a great collection of some of Michael Jacksons hits, If you dont own either I would recommend the History Past Present and Future instead as I love cd2 with great unreleased tracks.
