A Guide Book of Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents by Bowers, Richard Snow (2006, Paperback)

Mr. Snow is quit literally "the man who wrote the book" on Indian head and flying eagle cents. This book is the accepted Bible on the subject. Coin prices are slow to change so an issue a couple of years old is nearly as good as a current one. The book is very easy to use with an entire page (or more) dedicated to each year. Year varieties are identified as well. If you are collecting Indian Head Cents at all, you NEED this book. None better. (hint: eBay is a great place to buy coins)

This is one in an set of books that is essential reading for collecting coins and understanding the minute details of each year and date. This series should not be construed as a price guide. It is, instead a concise date by date history of eac coin. It is well written and concise. Recommended for anyone experianced or novice.

I have enjoyed this book from cover to cover. It fills in a lot of information I have been lacking since I started collecting Indin Head Cents.
Plus it provided answers to questions that had been raised in my mind.
