Guilty Gear is amazing

Created: 02/04/09
Guilty Gear, in all of its reincarnations, is an amazing game. The character designs are super unique and the details are amazing for a 2d title.

Often overshadowed by Street Fighter and the abomination called Mortal Kombat, Guilty Gear slipped under the mainstream radar.

XX#Reload was the first iteration to have online capabilities, which is really helpful to players that find it hard to get a match going with their friends that only desire to play Halo or the latest Madden.

This game doesn't contain the ENTIRE roster, as a few more more titles came out after it, but it does have the majority, including Bridget!!!(yay)

If you cant afford Isuka, since its goign for about 70 bux these days and there is no guarantee that it will work on your US Xbox or Xbox360 console, get this version. You can usually find a copy for under 10 bux!

GG X2 Xbox

Created: 01/10/07
Guilty Gear is by far the best 2D fighter out there. It has a variety of characters and playstyles from the hard hitters (Sol, Ky, Potemkin) to the super fast combo masters (Jam, Chip) to finesse characters (Johnny), to just oddball out there styles (Faust, Eddie, Dizzie). Also one of the few games where you can achieve a one shot kill no matter the difficulty. Several game modes keep the action coming for hours. I give the game itself 5/5 Stars.

Controls are not as good on the XBox as the PS2. GGX2 plays best on an arcade style control or a ps2 style utilizing the D-pad. As such I have to give GGX2 on XBox 4/5.

Kick@$$

I was reluctant to try this game after hearing the hype surrounding it and seeing in action (dispite being impressed by its graphics and original characters). I eventually tried it at a friends home and was instantly blown away.

Not only is it pretty to look, but the fighting engine rocks (...really hard). It is way deeper than I had thought.

If you haven't tried it yet and are fed-up of those old fighting games, do yourself a favour and pick this one up (although it is "old").

Fast playing fighter.

Guilty Gear is a fast paced fast moving 2d fighter. Great visuals and animations with great style make this game a blast to play for hours and hours. 20 characters give it some variety and each character has a unique instant kill move. I suggest you get this game along with 2 arcade sticks and a buddy for maximum fun. A great play each time!

Guilty Gear x2 Reload

This game is possibly one of the most entertaining 2d fighting games for the original Xbox you will probably find Period!! It's got great 2d visuals absolutely NO lag or blocky animation. Looks crisp and clean. The storyline is entertaining as well. Believe me if you've played Street Fighter then you should definitely check this game out
