Guitar Hero III rocks the PS3
Created: 19/10/07
Graphics - 8/10
For what the game is, you are not buying this game to play for the graphics – though Activision was able to make the animations more vibrant, and a more noticeable experience.
Sound – 10/10
The track list for this game, along with the original recordings (including the reunited Sex Pistols!) is a must have. You will get lost in involvement when playing this game. This is one of the best soundtracks in a game to date.
Gameplay – 9/10
Though under new “ownership”, Activision has taken this game this game down a similar road, but with a new car. With slight improvements in the display hud, the notifications of streaks, and the “star power” activators easier to get, this game is fun. Plain and simple.
Replay Value - 10/10
It will hard not to play this game over and over. This is a worthy sequel.
Overall - 9/10
There are a few new tweaks to the actual gameplay, and it feels a bit easier to play (except some of the very final songs), but this game follows the old saying “if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it”. The song list, along with the new guitar, is stellar. With all the original, or master, tracks that are in this game, it is hard not to enjoy this game if you are a fan of rhythm or music games.
The new wireless “Gibson” guitar is heavier, more durable, and the closest thing to a real guitar peripheral that I have felt. I must say that this is a nice controller, and I did not want to put it down. I applaud Activision’s attention to detail. I highly recommend this bundle.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock; as the title states, the tracks that are in the game disk for this game are by bands that have been considered legends in the world of rock.
The game play is simple, you have to press the buttons on the neck of the guitar controller and strum as the colors reach the markers at the bottom of the screen. Sounds simple, but in some songs it can become a bit challenging. The game has tracks by bands like Guns 'N Roses, Metallica, and The Rolling Stones. You unlock songs by playing career mode or online with friends in Co-op career mode. As you play, you and your band get signed on to different venues where you will play a preselected track list. The better you play, the more money you get payed. The money in the game can be used to buy other songs, outfits for your characters, guitars and different colors for your guitars. You can also buy any characters that you unlock by beating them during career mode.
The controller for the game is pretty neat. It is in the shape of a Gibson Les Paul guitar. It can be taken apart, I believe that it is for easier storage for when it is not in use. It is smaller than the guitar controller from the original Rock Band game. The neck is smaller and the buttons are a bit harder to press. Besides those flaws, I believe that the controller is well designed.
Overall the game is pretty good. It has a good song selection and it is a great party game.

Guitar Hero 3, Should You Buy?

Guitar Hero 3 is a great game, but do you really think its worth your money? Guitar Hero 3 Has a great bundle including The Guitar, and strap, Wireless Receiver, Stickers, and ofcourse, the game. The guitar Itself you can customize. If your looking for some great skins Visit http://stores.ebay.com/Games-jewlery-and-more
The game itself has a great career mode, The songs are great, they have some older songs, and even some new songs from snipknot. The career mode is very fun, you start off jamming in a backyard, after completing the required amount of songs, a agent approaches you, and your off to bigger and better things. There are some neat boss battles. The hardest bye far is the last one! The only thing about this game, is that is very short. You can beat it so fast. Now, because of that, I would say its a rent, but, It has much replay value, its great for parties, and everyone enjoys gamming out to there favorite song. So next time your having a party and want something fun to do, whip out guitar hero 3, and blow your guests away! Its a BUY after all!

Excellent Guitar Hero Game

Now with a wireless guitar you can play your rock music freely. Great game, contains lots of classic songs that will keep you moving. Graphics enhanced a bit. Levels got harder. And in some levels when you play encore you have to compete with the computer instead of just playing the song alone. Makes the game more exciting. Includes an option for online which adds in the fun. I highly recommend this game at a reasonable price. Get it for this holiday season.
