    Product description

    Product Information
Gurumin is an action-RPG that puts you in the role of Parin, a young girl gifted with the ability to see ghosts. One day, while playing with spirits, an evil phantom kidnaps one of her friends. To save her friend from the clutches of the phantom, Parin must brave a massive adventure that will take her through forests, mountains, ruins, and caves. Players must guide Parin through a cute 3D world where almost everything you see is destructible. Even novices would enjoy the action, thanks to a beginner mode! The gameplay is varied, as players would clear dungeons, play mini games, and wear different costumes. This game was originally produced for PC, and has been enhanced for PSP.

So what happens when you give a little girl a drill?

    Created: 07/05/07
Who would have thought a game with a concept that seems so inane could be so much fun? The young girl Parin has just moved to a mining town to live with her grandfather Hyperbolic. Only thing is, there's no other kids in town, so Parin has to make her own fun. That is, until she runs across a monster! The monster is a friendly one, however, and leads Parin into her a world of other friendly monsters. However, the prince of the evil monsters, the Phantoms, is quite displeased with the happiness of the good monsters. It's up to Parin to wield the drill of the legendary hero and save the good monsters from the tyranny of the Phantoms!
Let me preface this by saying if you have a PSP, you need this game. As Parin, you have to wield a drill that can be used as a slashing, piercing, or blunt weapon. As you fight monsters and demolish obstacles, its attacks grow stronger, and you can charge your attack to ram through walls and enemies. However, drill power decreases if Parin takes damage, so you need to be quick to react to enemies. By beating Phantoms, you obtain junk parts that can be used to upgrade special equipment that reduces damage or prevents status effects. In short, there's a wide variety of enemies, the boss battles are quite epic, there's a number of cool moves Parin can do with the drill, and there's lots of different equipment to mess around with. This game is definitely a must have.

    Gurumin: The Lost Audience

    Created: 15/05/08
This game has received multiple glowing reviews and maybe I just don't get it. For die hard adventure game fans, this game is right up your alley, but if you like your adventures served up ala Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, WOW style, this game will bore you to death. The graphics are not that great, the voiceovers hover right on the edge of annoying and the story is weak. After committing 2 hours into the game, I just threw in the towel. My 5 year old likes it, but since she can't read, it's difficult for her to follow. So it's too kiddie for adults and too advanced for younger audience. All in all, I don't know who this game is made for and I'm sure there are tons of die hard gamers out there that really love this game. But for an every-so-often adventure gamer, this probably isn't for you because it won't be able to hold your attention for long.

    Gurumin:A monstrous Adventure

I liked this anime style game. There is only one thing I did'nt like.It was that when you save half way through a dungeon it will not actually save at that spot. You will have to start the whole stage over if you reload the game. But you do get to keep the item's and money you found. This game is very cutsy poo so if you can't stand stuff like that don't buy it.I liked the main character she's strong, smart and very cute. This game can be funny at time's like the little blue guy's dance it's funny looking. So if your a fan of anime and over the top cute stuff I recommend this game.

    A decent game

When I first saw the title screen, I was not convinced. Weird little animated creatures and annoying music. But I decided to dive right in and what I discovered is a cool little game that might be a tad easy but still enjoyable to play. I won't go into the plot but the game's story is a little cheesy and thin and going around rescuing things like potted plants is a tad odd but the game is engaging. It's fun to try and get perfect scores in every dungeon and the different goggles are amusing. This game is a solid addition to any PSP collection.
