) bought this for our living room to replace an older less efficient not energy star air conditioner. nice price for a gently used model. plus cant beat no change in electricity bill so now its 2 rooms for the price of one room dehumidified and cooled. now we can run 2 air conditioners in the house without higher bills. for our usage used is fine the air conditioner is for summer months only so it meets our home needs to freshen, cool and dehumidify the air at a nice low cost. if we used air more like in a hotter climate perhaps a new or refurb with a warranty would have been a better option but for us this works great
