The Curse of Michael Myers (DVD) Donald Pleasence

Created: 05/12/10
This is probably the best Halloween movie since the first two. Donald Pleasance steals the show as Dr. Loomis. Great cast includes Paul Rudd. Years after the havoc in Haddonfield, Michael Myers returns and creates a lot of terror and murder. The irrepressable Dr. Loomis, despite being stabbed, burned in the past, appears pretty much unscathed in this one and puts on his amazing acting performance. Great budget and special effects, this will keep you on edge.

This mid 90's production has its own unique directive. Different story lines with dark elements that take the film away from some drool moments in the 4th and 5th installments (don't waste your time with the 3rd). This cult aspect of the plot gives it a boost to make up for a few bad acting jobs. Though the story is hard to grasp for the casual fan, common themes found in the Halloween series move the movie through the less intense scenes. The notorious home where Michael returns fostering the Strodes and Devil Child has all the tricks necessary to bring about a successful addition. Caves, hospitals, fields, bus stations and a plethora of other fun spots give Michael another enjoyable journey in Haddonfield or wherever else U.S.A. Some hardcore fans might even find some closure by the 6th chapter (if you count Season of the Witch), in a film where some of the Michael Myers story comes full circle. Myers promises a reign of twisted sickness that all other horror icons fail to bring to the table. Michael is as powerful as ever this time around because there is no lying in what kinds of forces drive Michael during his last encounter with Donald Pleasence. This in turn makes Myers the true pound for pound champ, sorry GSP and Pacquiao. Jason Voorhees stock is up but he has too much garbage in-between the gold, suck it Freddy Krueger and Chucky (worst-ever). Give it a chance for the score and the cinematography alone, well worth a rental even though it is short on run time. Absurdities are at the heart of any good horror flick and this one doesn't disappoint in that department.

Halloween 6 the curse of michael myers

Created: 17/07/10
This is really a good scary movie. That tells the story of Michael Myers's curse called the curse of thorn. A lot of people did not like it, because Danielle Harris doesn't play Jamie, and other reasons. Still it has grown on me over the years. Now it's just one of the classic Halloween movies, and the last one with the late ,great Donald Pleasents as Dr. Loomis.

Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers (DVD, 2000)
As an real horrorfan I can recomended all parts, Halloween 6 is not one of the better in the series, but all parts is great to se for all who like a really classic horror movie (I want to recommended at the same time Part 666) they did also that one after Dr Lomis, died under the shooting of part 6. That part 666 is little bit diffrent than the original/official part 6. So please look at both version. I like part 666 little more than part 6.

"Not Bad Halloween Sequel!"

 | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
Created: 26/11/09
Donald Pleasence and Paul Rudd star in this 1995
horror sequel. Dr. Loomis tries to stop Michael
from making his final sacrifice. This is not a
bad sequel, but it really could've been better.
I recommend the "Producer's Cut," it explains
more, shows more of Donald's scenes and has
a better ending. This dvd has decent picture
and sound, but no extras. I'd still get this
for your Halloween or horror collection.
