Hamilton Beach 22605 2-Slice Toaster

It is impossible to buy a better toaster for less. A toaster of similar performance generally costs about $50. This is a simple toaster with no extra features. It toasts. Unless you use many different kinds of bread or want your toast done to varying shades you should be able to quickly figure out how to adjust the dial on the front. The toast pops out when done according to the dial on the front, and don't try to get the toast out before then, because the toaster is hot on the sides.

This is a very good toaster for the price. The slots are wide enough to hold half a bagel each, the darkness control seems to work well, and the short AC cord is appropriate for an electrical unit designed to be used on a sideboard. It would be way to short if you plan to put the toaster on a breakfast table, though. So far it works as promised. And yes, the sides do stay cool.

OK for a cheap toaster, does the job. It is slow, requires a second toasting on english muffins. When you interupt the second toasting and manually eject it, it throws the muffin out of the toaster, often to the floor

This toaster is NOT what is advertised; the sides are not cool when used and I burnt my fingers. There is no way to cancel or pop up toast manually.

I find this to be everything it was advertised to be except for its speed... but that was never mentioned! It is, however, a $10 toaster and for a single man who toasts 6 slices of bread a week, I can probably find the time it takes to do the job! Otherwise, it could not have gone better!
