This is one of Dr. Seuss' earlier hardcover books. We just came across this book and read it to little ones. They really enjoyed the colorful picture and watching the yellow bird take us on a birthday tour. It is now one of the favorite bedtime book for this week.

) I bought this for a babies first birthday as a keepsake and for something to be read at bedtime or once a year on his birthday. Kids love Dr. Seuss and they learn to read and memorize because of the rhyming in his books.

) One of the lesser known books by Dr. Seuss. I loved it growing up, my children loved it and now my grandchildren are loving it. After many decades, I can still recite most of it by heart. The pictures are wonderful as is the story. I wanted to live in Katroo.

I bought it because my daycare children love Dr. Suess and I make up a Birthday Bag for each to take home on their individual birthdays and I put birthday books in there for their families to read tothem.
