) This book is full of information particularly on the new rubber mount Sportsters the most cost effective Sportster to start any modifications on.It is full of great performance tips.My only disappointment is in the way the author tends to blurr information on upgrades .He uses horsepower examples for stage 1/2/3 but rarely for all three for example.Stage 1/2/3 should have been explained in 3 seperate parts to make them far easier to understand and execute.Part numbers could have been more complete when he is recommending parts.Stock cam information should have included more lift/ duration /overlap information especially when talking about 883/1200 cams or aftermarket cams, this also would have made it easier to understand cranking pressure .Squish could also could have been explained quite a bit more clearly as well.Timing change baseline recommendations for modifications of stage 1/2/3 would have been usefull.I really don't want to trash the author or his info but I just found the book gappy and information all over the place making it hard to follow and completely understand.Most information is there but it takes considerable time to sift through it all to formulate a game plan that in the end you are really not sure of.Ken vandkcole@hughes.net
