Harry Potter Boxed Set by J. K. Rowling (2007, Hardcover)

I absolutely love J. K. Rowling as an author. Her Harry Potter books have been a real pleasure to read and I like most others anxiously awaited the next book in the series each time. This set is great. The trunk is actually a heavy cardboard, but decorated to look like a trunk. I love the stickers that come with the trunk so each owner can decorate the trunk their own way. I do wish J K Rowling had given a little more details of what became of who in book 7, but all in all, it was a great ride!

This boxed set of the complete Harry Potter series (hardcover) was such a hit with my 8 year old son that my 10 year old daughter asked for one of her own. The box looks like (a very small version of)the type of trunk Harry packs for school. We have gotten each Potter book as it has come out (and they are totally dog-eared!), and we have seen other sets, but none has the style and sense of fun that goes along with this set. Even my mother wants one (and she's -- as my kids would say-- an OLDIE). You cannot go wrong with this set. At Christmas, they were sold out of every bookstore and even many online bookstores....but not eBay! I also got a much better price on eBay than in any of the bookstores, whether virtual or brick-and-mortar. You will love it!

This boxed set came in a wonderful trunk. Along with entire series it came with stickers. My son personalized his trunk to make it his own. It made it even better that the books can be displayed all together in the trunk.

I bought this boxed set for my daughter's birthday> Now I find myself reading them they are wonderfully well written. The box set comes with all 7 books in hardcover all still in plastic. The cardboard chest they came was well constructed.This is a set Worth owning if you a Harry Potter Fan...

I bought it for my husband's birthday. He has the whole set in paperback, but was very impressed by the look of the hardbound in the trunk. While I knew the "trunk" was cardboard it was much heavier than I anticipated. With some careful use it should hold up well to display this wonderful set. Would recommend to other Harry Potter fans.
