Hasbro Family Game Night 3 (Wii, 2010)

This series of Hasbro classic games is a great addition to the inventory of titles available for the Wii platform. Family Game Night 3 has some of the classics that appeal to a wide age range and can be played with kids to seniors all together for some real fun. Clue, Mousetrap, Yahtzee, The Game of Life, and Twister come to life and minor modifications that make interaction more fun, and promote the family values that have been expressed when playing these Hasbro leisure activities for generations. My decision to purchase this product was guided by nostalgia and a change of interest away from the shooting-strategy-action-fanta​sy-rock-and-roll-star-thumb-nu​mbing titles that dominate console games today. Monopoly is on my wish list for the next Wii game in the family genre.

The game is great. I expected more gameplay for the money though. The twister and mouse trap games really werent that creative like life or clue.

I was so disappointed in this game set. We had bought Monopoly and LOVED it, so I thought we would enjoy Clue especially. But it's NOTHING like the game itself, and wasn't any fun. Yahtzee was too confusing for my family, because it isn't played like regular yahtzee. Life was Okay, but defiitely not worth the purchase price of the set. If you like board games, buy Monopoly! This set is nothing like the actual games.

We love to play the GAME OF LIFE on this. It is alot of fun, however the other games are a little boring. It was still worth getting for the GAME OF LIFE. It also has CLUE, which is tuff to play with others because they have to leave the room so they don't see your clues. TWISTER, this is like a simon type game were you have to repeat the key punches with the remote buttons. MOUSE TRAP, not bad but a little boring and toward the end you are all just going in circles till someone is traped. YAHTZEE HANDS DOWN, very difficult could not play. In the end we would have been happy to just buy the GAME OF LIFE.

We just love this Wii game. LOVE Life game. Clue is a bit slow but it's still fun. Yahtzee a little confusing. Twister FUN!! It's hard to find a game that everyone can play. This one is great.
